BSS Inter-Branch English Debate Competition - 2011-2012

Becanhouse School System, Inter-Branch English Debate Competition - 2011-2012 - Karachi, Pakistan.

 

Title of Debate: Internet has made us less readers and more browsers.

           
         It all started when I got the diary to write a debate on the topic "Internet has made us less readers and more  browsers" which will be held in the school and it could be in favour or against. I picked against but the teacher told me to write in favour so I wrote in favour and achieved 1st position.

         Than my teacher Ms. Sobia helped me prepare for the same debate to compete with other branches in the Inter-Branch Debate Competition held in BSS Gulshan Primary-III. In this competition I secured 2nd position.

        Finally I was able to participate in the Inter-Branch Debate Competition which was held in BSS Clifton  Campus and competing with all the BSS Branches of Karachi. In this I was awarded "Special Prize".

         I would like to thank HM. Ms. Maria, Ms. Sobia and Ms. Shazia for their cooperation, guidance and kindness in helping me do better in this competition. Insha'Allah next time I will do much better. I would also like to thank to all my school friends and all the teachers and elders who gave us a superb, unforgettable and lovely welcoming reception on our way back :)
